The casitas are located near to the traditional Andalucian market town of Órgiva, which is the capital of La Alpujarra region and has many bars, restaurants, banks, etc.
Las Alpujarras is a 70km long collection of valleys between the mediterranean sea and the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada mountain range (the highest in mainland Spain). more information can be found here.
La Alpujarra is in the province of Granada. Granada is famous for its historical city and of course the world famous Alhambra.
Granada province has many excellent beaches located on the Costa Tropical and also Sol y Nieve (Pradollano), the southernmost ski resort in Europe.
